The solid and chunky tannins and dark plum fruits of drought grown merlot are lifted and lengthened by blending with an aromatic and elegant shiraz. White pepper, blood plums and anise overlay a wll textured palate and lengthy balanced finish. Quite a fortuitous blend; the sum being better that the parts. A delicious and versatile mid weight wine; lamb cutlets, veal, Italian sausage.
