Two buyers from Tokyo's Farmland Trading recently toured the Central West, sampling some of the fine organic wines on offer. As a result of the visit, Lowe Family Wines and Botobolar Organic Wines, both of Mudgee, received export orders which are now on the way to grace the shelves of wine merchants in Tokyo.

DSRD Export Advisor, Ian Sanders of our Orange office, accompanied the visitors, Ayumi Okauchi and Yoshie Shibahara, to five local vineyards. The visitors learned about organic grape growing methods and wine making, and also enjoyed sampling a variety of quality reds and whites.
